My approach
I photograph how a place feels, not only how it looks.
A room is more than its square footage. It is the light coming through in the morning, the texture of the wood, the smell of coffee from the kitchen, the view guests remember on the drive home.
I look for those details and the atmosphere around them, and turn them into images and films that show the identity of your property. People should be able to picture themselves there before they book.

About
Hi, I’m Laura.
I’m a photographer and visual storyteller, and the creator of En Vidas y Viajes. I left my life in New York to travel and document places with soul and the people who run them.
I’m drawn to spaces with personality: the lodge built by hand, the hotel with a story in every room, the kitchen that sets the tone for a whole stay. I work with my partner Andy, who spent more than twenty years in professional kitchens, so we know how a hospitality team works and what guests notice.
I like to work closely with the people behind each property. I listen first, plan carefully, and stay out of your guests’ way on the day.
Every place has a story. My job is to find it and make people feel it.

We talk about your property, its identity, your goals and what the project needs. You receive a proposal tailored to it.

I develop the visual approach and shot plan, then produce the photography and film on location, timed to the best light.
